4. First Bench: You’ll find a bench in a small room right after the first few enemies. Rest here to save your game. Benches are your save points; always rest when you see one.
5. Meet Cornifer: Listen for humming. Follow the sounds to find Cornifer, the cartographer. Pay him 60 Geo for the Forgotten Crossroads map. Maps are essential; always buy them immediately.

- How to trigger: After obtaining the Dream Nail, return to Howling Cliffs. Find a hidden corpse near the entrance to King's Pass and Dream Nail it to receive the Grimmchild charm.
- Content: Collect flames throughout Hallownest to summon the Grimm Troupe and access new areas (the Tent, Nightmare Realm). Two endings: banish the Troupe or defeat Nightmare King Grimm (one of the hardest bosses).
- How to access: After obtaining the Dream Nail, go to the Royal Waterways and break a wall near the Jinn corpse to find the Godseeker. Use the Dream Nail on it to unlock the Godhome.
- Content: Five pantheons of increasing difficulty, culminating in the Pantheon of Hallownest (true final boss). Defeating all pantheons unlocks the “Embrace the Void” ending.
