Important Notes for Cut the Rope

⚠️ Warnings and Pitfalls

• Cutting the wrong rope first: Many levels have a specific order for cutting ropes. Cutting the wrong one can make stars impossible to collect in that attempt. Always observe the rope connections before cutting.


• Bubbles can float candy away: A single tap on a bubble will inflate it and lift the candy. If you pop it at the wrong time, the candy may miss Om Nom or fall into spikes. Use bubbles only when the candy is aligned with stars or Om Nom.


• Spikes are instant fail: If the candy touches spikes (yellow triangles or other sharp objects), the level resets. Avoid cutting ropes that let the candy swing into spikes.


• Rocket platforms: These appear in later levels. They accelerate the candy and can overshoot Om Nom. Time your cuts so the candy lands exactly in the mouth.


• Moving ropes: Some ropes move or are attached to pulleys. Cutting one may cause the other to shift. Plan for the physics chain reaction.
