Cheats & Secrets

Injustice 2 – Cheats & Secrets Guide

Overview

Injustice 2 does not contain traditional cheat codes (e.g., entering a button sequence at the title screen or during gameplay) that unlock infinite health, all stages, or instant victory. NetherRealm Studios opted for a live-service model focused on gear, shaders, and multiverse events. However, the game is rich in developer-intended secrets, including hidden characters, alternate renderings (Premier Skins), unlockable endings, stage Easter eggs, and other surprises. This guide covers all known legitimate secrets, hidden content, and Easter eggs across all platforms (PS4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, PC, and mobile).

1. Secret / Unlockable Characters

2. Secret Endings

#### 2.1 Character-Specific Endings (Story Mode)
Each character has a unique ending sequence after completing the story. To view all endings, you must replay story chapters choosing different characters – but there is no ‘all endings’ cheat. The endings are shown automatically based on your choices.

#### 2.2 The “True” Ending
If you select Superman at the final decision point, you get a unique ending cutscene. If you select Batman, another ending plays. Both are canon-ambiguous. No hidden secret ending beyond these.

3. Stage Secrets & Interactive Objects

#### 3.1 Secret Stage Interactions
Every stage has multiple interactive objects (e.g., throwing rocks, slamming opponents into walls). Some objects are hidden behind transitions:
  • Batcave: Break the glass cabinet to get the “Batmobile” transition.

  • Gorilla City: Slam opponent into the giant gorilla statue to trigger a stage transition.

  • Atlantis: Use the water geysers to send opponent flying.

  • Apokolips: Hitting the Parademon vats triggers an explosion transition.

  • No cheat is needed – these are part of normal gameplay.

    #### 3.2 Secret Stage: Themyscira (Wonder Woman’s Throne Room)
  • Status: Only accessible after unlocking Wonder Woman’s stage through story mode or multiverse. No hidden code.

    4. Easter Eggs

    #### 4.1 Watchtower Arcade Machines
In the “Watchtower” hub area, inspect the arcade machines. One plays a mini-game of Pong (Calling it a “hidden Pong” Easter egg). Interact with the screen to play for a few seconds.

    #### 4.2 Batcomputer References
In the Batcave stage, the Batcomputer screens show text messages referencing other DC events, like the death of Jason Todd or Joker’s laughing gas. Some messages are timed and cycle randomly.

    #### 4.3 Supergirl’s Cape (Mobile Game)
In the mobile version, if you tap Supergirl’s cape repeatedly, she reacts with a voice line. This is purely cosmetic.

    #### 4.4 Hidden Dialogue (Character Intros)
Many pre-fight dialogues reference obscure DC lore. For example, if you pair Black Manta with Aquaman, they reference the murder of Aquaman’s son. No cheat – just character combinations.

    #### 4.5 “15 Years” Time Skip (Story)
The game’s story begins 15 years after the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us. This is a narrative Easter egg.

    5. Gear & Loot Secrets

    #### 5.1 Hidden Ability: “Cat Call” (Super Move Enhancement)
  • Character: Catwoman

  • Secret: The “Cat Call” ability is a special gear piece that changes her super move animation to summon a swarm of cats. It can be obtained only from certain Multiverse events or rare Mother Box drops. No cheat – it’s RNG-based.

  • #### 5.2 Hidden Ability: “Phantom Zone” (Superman)
  • Character: Superman

  • Effect: Adds a unique super move animation where he sends opponent to the Phantom Zone. Extremely rare drop.

  • #### 5.3 All Gear Max Level (No Existing)
There is no legitimate cheat to max all gear instantly. The fastest method is to farm the “Endless Multiverse” event for high-level gear.

    ---

    6. Developer Room / Secret Area

    #### 6.1 The “Developer Room” (Not Present)
Unlike some earlier NetherRealm games (e.g., Mortal Kombat: Deception had a hidden krypt room with developers), Injustice 2 does not contain a walkable developer room. However, there is a secret “NetherRealm Studios” logo in the Watchtower – if you stand near the TV screen showing the logo, it occasionally flickers with a hidden message: “You are not alone” (a reference to the game’s story).

    ---

    7. Mobile Version Secrets

    #### 7.1 Secret Character: Silver Banshee
  • Platform: iOS / Android

  • Unlock: Complete her Challenge event when available. No cheat code.

  • #### 7.2 Infinite Energy Glitch (Patched)
A known exploit that allowed infinite energy in the mobile version was patched. No longer usable.

    ---

    8. Miscellaneous Secrets

    #### 8.1 “The Last Laugh” (Joker’s Stage)
If you win a match on the Joker’s carnival stage with Joker, a unique victory animation plays where he laughs and the screen shows “HAHAHA”. This is a secret animation, not a cheat.

    #### 8.2 Secret Trophies / Achievements
Several achievements are hidden until unlocked, such as:
  • “One Hit Wonder” – Win a match with the total defense value of 0 (requires specific gear setup).

  • “Armored to the Teeth” – Equip 5 epic gear pieces on one character.

  • “The Caped Crusader” – Perform 50 Batman-specific interactions.

No cheat to unlock these – they must be earned.

---

9. No Cheat Codes Exist

#### 9.1 Console / PC
There are no button combos, text entries, or system-level cheats for unlocking all characters, infinite health, or access to all stages. The game does not have a developer debug menu accessible by normal means.

#### 9.2 Mobile
No official cheat codes. Third-party tools claiming to generate gems or shards are scams and may result in account bans.

10. Summary

Injustice 2 relies on exploration, gear grinding, and multiverse events for its hidden content. The game’s secrets are designed to be discovered through normal play rather than inputting codes. If you want to experience all hidden content without grinding, the Legendary Edition unlocks all characters and most Premier Skins, but even that does not provide cheat-level access.
