All Game Items in Injustice 2

This guide covers every major item type in Injustice 2, including gear, cosmetics, currencies, consumables, and collectibles. Items are grouped by category with explanations of function, acquisition, and best uses.

1. Gear (Equipment)

Gear is the core loot system. Each character has unique gear slots: two pieces of armor, two weapons, and two accessories. Gear provides stat boosts and can be augmented.

1.1 Gear Slots per Character

  • Head (armor)

  • Torso (armor)

  • Arms (weapon or armor, varies by character e.g., Batman uses gauntlets, Superman uses bracers)

  • Legs (armor)

  • Weapon 1 (e.g., Batman’s Batarangs, Superman’s fists are considered weapons)

  • Weapon 2 (e.g., Batman’s Utility Belt, Superman’s S-Shield? Actually weapon slots are character-specific: e.g., Superman has “Gloves” as weapon? The game labels them as “Primary Weapon” and “Secondary Weapon” for each character. For clarity: each character has 6 gear slots: two weapons, two armor pieces, and two accessories (like cape/cloak/belt). The exact naming varies, but all pieces fall into those categories.)

  • 1.2 Gear Stats

  • Strength – increases damage of basic attacks and special moves.

  • Ability – increases damage of special moves and super moves.

  • Defense – reduces damage taken.

  • Health – increases total HP.

  • Each gear piece has a gear score (1–100+) that determines the size of stat bonuses. Higher score = better base stats. Pieces also have augment slots (1–3) for adding extra perks.

    1.3 Rarity & Set Bonuses

  • Common (white) – no set.

  • Rare (blue) – can be part of a 2-piece set.

  • Epic (purple) – can be part of a 5-piece set. Epic gear has extra stat rolls and unique appearances.

  • Set bonuses activate when you equip 2 or 5 pieces of the same set (e.g., “Batman’s Arkham Knight set”). Set bonuses grant powerful passive effects (e.g., “Activating Supernova triggers a power cascade”).

    1.4 Augments & Augment Slots

  • Augment Slots: Each gear piece has 0–3 slots. Slots are unlocked via Augment Slot Unlock Tokens or by leveling gear.

  • Augments: Insertable items that grant specific buffs:

  • - Strength Augment (increase Strength)
    - Ability Augment
    - Defense Augment
    - Health Augment
    - XP Boost (increases XP gain)
    - Credit Boost (increases Credit earnings)
    - Loot Chance Boost (increases Mother Box quality)

    1.5 Gear Upgrades

  • Regeneration: Use regenerating tokens or credits to re-roll a gear piece’s stats. Can be done multiple times. Stats may increase or decrease randomly. Use Regeneration Tokens (obtained from Mother Boxes or events) for free re-rolls.

  • Transmogrification: Change the appearance of a gear piece to any other piece you own without affecting stats. Costs 1,000 Source Crystals per slot.

  • Leveling Gear: Gear levels with your character (if “gear leveling” enabled in Multiverse). You can also use Gear Upgrade Tokens to instantly raise gear level.

    - Special event shaders (e.g., “Halloween” shaders) require Multiverse completion.

    2.2 Character Abilities

  • Each character has 5 ability slots (one for each special move and the super move). By default, abilities are fixed. You can replace them with Alternate Abilities (e.g., Batman’s “Kryptonite Gloves” instead of Batarangs).

8. Synergies & Important Notes

  • Set Bonuses: Focus on collecting 5-piece sets for your main character. Mixing sets can also work (e.g., 2+2).

  • Augments: Prioritize Strength/Ability for damage dealers, Health/Defense for tanks. Use Boost augments for farming Credits or XP.

  • Transmogrification: Expensive but allows you to keep the stats of a low-level cosmetic piece. Only spend Source Crystals on gear with perfect stats for your playstyle.

  • Gear Selling: Unwanted gear can be sold for Credits. Always sell common/rare gear; consider keeping epics for set bonuses or transmog fodder.

  • Guild: Joining an active guild provides exclusive loot and currency. Participate in Guild Multiverse to earn Guild Credits and Mother Boxes.
