Weapons



#### Katana (Sakai Katana)
  • Description: Jin's primary melee weapon. Upgrading increases damage and unlocks new combat stances (Stone, Water, Wind, Moon) and techniques.

  • Obtaining: Automatically acquired at the start of the game. Upgrades require Iron, Steel, and Gold at any swordsmith.

  • Useful: All combat situations. Each stance is effective against specific enemy types (Stone vs. Swordsman, Water vs. Shield, Wind vs. Spear, Moon vs. Brute).

  • Synergies: Charms that boost stagger damage or melee damage. Armor like the Samurai Clan Armor enhances standoffs.

    #### Tanto
  • Description: A short blade used for stealth assassinations and chain assassinations.

  • Obtaining: Given early in the game.

  • Useful: Essential for stealth play. Upgrading increases assassination speed and allows chain kills (up to 3).

  • Upgrades:

  • - Levels 1–3: Unlock chain assassination (2 enemies, then 3). Requires Predator Hides, Leather, and Supplies.

    #### Half Bow
  • Description: Light ranged weapon, draws quickly, good for headshots and death from above.

Charms



Charms are equippable items that grant passive bonuses. There are Major Charms (one slot) and Minor Charms (two slots, expandable to six via upgrades). Charms are found in shrines, completed haikus, bamboo strikes, or crafted at altars.

Synergies: Pair charms with armor perks. For example, Tadayori's Armor + Charm of the Hawk (headshot damage) + Charm of the Quick Draw (faster bow draw) creates a deadly archer build. Ghost Armor + Charm of the Brooding Artist (terrifying assassinations) increases terror range.

Tools (Ghost Weapons)



Jin can carry up to three ghost weapons (plus smoke bomb). All are crafted using Supplies at a workbench. Upgrades increase capacity and effectiveness.
