In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, there are no playable characters with unique skills. All Operators are purely cosmetic. Player abilities are derived from Perks, Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, and Equipment. Perks (Passive Skills)
Perks are passive abilities that enhance your soldier. You equip one Base Perk, one Bonus Perk, and one Ultimate Perk. Perks unlock via leveling or completing challenges.

Field Upgrades (Active Abilities)

Killstreaks (Score Reward Abilities)
Killstreaks are earned by getting consecutive kills (or score in Domination, etc.). You can equip three at a time.

- Perk swapping mid-game: Use the Gunsmith menu to change perks before respawn.
