Platform Availability
Clash of Clans is officially available on mobile devices (iOS and Android) and, more recently, on Windows PC via the Google Play Games beta. There are no native versions for Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. If you want to play on a PC, use the official Google Play Games app or an Android emulator (e.g., BlueStacks, LDPlayer).

Step-by-Step Installation
1. On iOS (iPhone / iPad)
1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Tap the Search tab and type "Clash of Clans".
3. Tap Get (or the cloud icon if already purchased) next to the official app from Supercell.
4. Authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
5. Wait for the download to finish. The icon will appear on your home screen.
6. Once installed, tap the icon to launch.
2. On Android (Phone / Tablet)
1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap the search bar and type "Clash of Clans".
3. Select the result from Supercell.
4. Tap Install.
5. Accept permissions if prompted (storage, network, etc.).
6. Wait for download and installation to complete.
7. Tap Open to start the game.

#### Using BlueStacks
1. Download and install BlueStacks 5 from its official website.
2. Launch BlueStacks and sign in with your Google account.
3. Open the Google Play Store app inside BlueStacks.
4. Search for "Clash of Clans" and install.
5. After installation, the game icon appears on the BlueStacks home screen.
6. Click to launch.

Account Requirements
To save your progress and play across devices, you need a Supercell ID or a linked account:
First Launch Setup
1. After installing, tap the game icon.
2. The game will download additional data (may take a few minutes on slow connections).
3. You will be prompted to create an account or sign in. Choose Create a Supercell ID or Later to play as a guest (progress will not be saved for guest).
4. Complete the tutorial (building the Town Hall, etc.).
5. To link later, go to Settings (gear icon) → Supercell ID → Register.
Common Installation Errors and Fixes

Post-Installation Verification
After successful installation, confirm that everything is working:
1. Launch the game: The splash screen should appear showing Supercell logo.
2. Check version number: On the main menu, tap the Settings gear icon → Help & Support → the version is shown at the top (e.g., v15.xxx.x). Ensure it matches the latest version on the App Store/Google Play.
3. Test basic functions: Tap on a building, train troops, attack a goblin base in the single-player campaign.
4. Audio and graphics: Verify that sounds play (unless muted) and animations are smooth. Adjust graphics settings (Settings → Graphics) to low/medium if lag occurs.
5. Cross-platform sync: If you log in with Supercell ID on another device, your village should sync.
If all steps work, you are ready to play! For ongoing updates, keep auto-updates enabled in your app store.
> Tip: To avoid data loss, always link your village to a Supercell ID immediately after starting.
