Waking up in the nation of Mondstadt, you begin your journey to reunite with your lost sibling, exploring Teyvat, uncovering its secrets, and eventually confronting the Heavenly Principles that govern this world.



Main Characters




• Aether / Lumine (The Traveler): The protagonist you control. You choose one twin at the start; the other becomes the antagonist (the “Prince/Princess of the Abyss”). The Traveler can attune to different elements, starting with Anemo.


• Paimon: A small, floating companion who acts as your guide, comic relief, and emergency food source. Paimon is the mascot of the game and helps narrate quests.


• Venti: The Anemo Archon of Mondstadt, appearing as a carefree bard.


• Zhongli: The Geo Archon of Liyue, now retired and living as a mortal.
