All Game Items
Overview
Genshin Impact features a vast array of items that are essential for character progression, combat, exploration, and resource management. This guide covers all major item categories, including weapons, artifacts, consumables, materials, currencies, collectibles, and key equipment. Each section explains what items do, how to obtain them, when they are useful, and any important synergies or upgrades.
> Note: Items are grouped by type and rarity. Rarity is indicated by stars (★). 5★ items are the rarest and most powerful, while 1★ items are common. Most items can be upgraded or refined using specific materials.

Weapons
Weapons are the primary tools for dealing damage and are equipped on characters. Each weapon type (Sword, Claymore, Polearm, Bow, Catalyst) has its own moveset and scaling. Rarity ranges from 1★ to 5★, with higher rarities having better base stats and more substats.
Obtaining Weapons
- Wishes (Gacha): Primarily 3★–5★ weapons from standard and limited banners.
- Forging (Blacksmith): 3★ and 4★ weapons using Northlander Billets and ores.
- Battle Pass (Gnostic Hymn): Selectable 4★ weapon at level 30.
- Events & Quests: Limited-time 4★ or 5★ weapons.
- Chests & Domains: 1★–3★ weapons as rewards.
- Starglitter Exchange: Rotating 4★ weapons and two 5★ standards (Skyward Atlas, Aquila Favonia).
- 5★ Signature Weapons: Many limited 5★ weapons are designed for specific characters (e.g., Staff of Homa for Hu Tao, Mistsplitter Reforged for Ayaka). It is recommended to pull these only if you main that character.
- Elemental Reactions: Some weapons boost reaction damage (e.g., Dragon's Bane for Vaporize/Melt).
- Energy Recharge: Weapons like Favonius Lance and Sacrificial Sword provide team utility by generating particles.
- Refinements: Duplicate weapons can be refined (R1 to R5) to enhance their passive effects. 5★ weapons are very expensive to refine; focus on R1 unless you are a whale.

Artifacts
Artifacts act as the "armor" system in Genshin Impact. They provide stat bonuses and set effects. Each character can equip five artifact slots: Flower of Life, Plume of Death, Sands of Eon, Goblet of Eonothem, and Circlet of Logos.
Artifact Stats
- Main Stats: Fixed for Flower (HP) and Plume (ATK). Sands: HP%, ATK%, DEF%, Energy Recharge%, Elemental Mastery. Goblet: Elemental DMG% (all elements plus Physical), or other stats. Circlet: CRIT Rate%, CRIT DMG%, Healing Bonus%, Elemental Mastery, etc.
- Substats: Random rolls from a pool including flat HP, ATK, DEF, and percentage versions plus CRIT, ER, EM.
- Set Bonuses: 2-piece and 4-piece effects from over 30 sets.
- Domains of Blessing: The primary source. Use Original Resin (20 per run, or 40 for condensed) to claim rewards. Level and domain determines set rarity drop rates.
- Weekly Bosses: Drop elemental artifacts (e.g., Gladiator's Finale, Wanderer's Troupe).
- World Bosses: Every boss drops 5★ artifacts at AR45+.
- Parametric Transformer: Can convert surplus items into random artifacts.
- Strongbox (Crafting Bench): Convert 3 mediocre 5★ artifacts into 1 from a specific set (e.g., Noblesse Oblige).
