All Game Items

Introduction

In League of Legends, "items" refer to the equipment purchased with gold during a match to enhance your champion’s stats, abilities, and utility. There are over 200 items in the current game, ranging from small components to full legendary power spikes. This guide covers every major category of items, as well as out-of-game currencies, crafting materials, and collectibles. All information reflects the post-Mythic item system (Season 14+), where no items are designated as Mythic; instead, items are classified as Starter, Basic, Epic, Legendary, and Ornn’s Masterwork upgrades.

1. Starter Items

Starter items are cheap (gold cost 400-500) and give you a small boost in the early game. Most champions start with one. They are purchased at the start of the match and can be sold later.

  • Doran’s Blade (450 gold): +80 Health, +8 Attack Damage, 2.5% Omnivamp. Best for attack damage champions (ADCs, fighters).

  • Doran’s Ring (400 gold): +70 Health, +15 Ability Power, +0.75 Mana Regen per 5 seconds, +5 Mana on minion kill. Best for ability power casters.

  • Doran’s Shield (450 gold): +80 Health, +20 Health Regen per 5 seconds, +5 Health Regen per 10 seconds when taking damage. Good for melee champions against poke.

  • Cull (450 gold): +7 Attack Damage, +1 Health on hit. After 100 minions killed, grants 350 gold and +1.75 Health on hit. A scaling starter for ADCs who want to ramp up.

  • Spellthief’s Edge / Relic Shield / Spectral Sickle / Shoulderguards (all 400 gold): These are the four support starter items. They generate gold when you damage or kill minions (depending on type) and upgrade after earning 500 gold. Choose based on support type (melee vs ranged, damage vs tank).

  • World Atlas: The unified support starter as of Season 14, but each class still has its own version that upgrades. Check patch notes for exact names.
